Casey was a national champion junior IFSA big mountain skier before a lacrosse scholarship took him to Rutgers University, where he served as a team captain. After moving to Bozeman, he began buying and renovating real estate of his own, eventually building a portfolio that included single family homes, multifamily properties, a small mobile home park, an industrial warehouse, and a spec home built from the ground up.
That hands on experience shaped the way Casey approaches brokerage. He’s taken remodels down to the studs, managed construction projects and budgets, worked through entitlements, and spent years as a landlord leasing both commercial and residential properties. Having represented sellers and sold plenty of his own real estate, he understands what actually makes a property more valuable and marketable.
Today, that experience allows him to advise clients across acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and redevelopment. He understands how to structure leases with an eventual buyer in mind, negotiate based on current market conditions, and evaluate construction costs, timelines, and entitlement risk.
That perspective ultimately led him to start Northrose Real Estate, with a focus on giving clients practical, straightforward advice and treating every decision with the same care he would if his own money were on the line.
Casey holds the CCIM designation, a credential held by fewer than 10% of commercial real estate practitioners nationwide. Outside of real estate, he’s the head coach of the Bozeman High School varsity lacrosse team, a role he’s held for seven seasons, and has run multiple 100- and 200-mile ultramarathons.
